This generation is focused on building a strong foundation for their families. These years were more traditional- These sims will only use items from the 1950-1960’s time period in your builds. Clothing, hairstyles, etc. must coordinate. This generation is all about working hard and being totally established.
A Closer Look At This Generation:
This generations focus will be to work extremely hard to establish stability in their jobs, families and homes.
This generation spends their time working hard in the garden or working with the wood working bench. Builds most of their items from scratch and will keep the items that they built for generations to come.
This generation was built on conservation for example: they uses fruits from their own garden most of the time and collects things from the earth such as seeds, stones and other collectibles around the sim world to make extra money, herbal remedies etc.
FINDING A JOB: Your sim CANNOT use their cell phones or computers like modern sims used to, so they are going to have to find a unique way to generate income for their families. Here are some suggestions to help generate income:
Become A Gardner & Sell Your Goods at local parks, or custom venues
Gather & Sell Collectables: Go around town gathering rocks,
Painting is a great way to make money and create heirlooms for your legacy.
Preparing For Next Generation:
Since this generation was HUGE on stability, BEFORE you begin having babies BOTH of your sims MUST max out at least one of these skills: gardening, woodworking, logic skill. OR have reached level 5 of ANY career.
Big families were common back in the 50’s and 60’s so you must have a minimum of 2 children for the next generation. You MUST have at least one boy and one girl.
All infants must have relationships maxed out with at least one parent BEFORE they age into a toddler.
Toddlers must be well taken care of- potty trained, been taught to walk and talk as well as maxed out at least one skill before they age up into a child.
Once the first born Has aged into a child, the household can purchase a TV
All children in the house must have good grades maintaining a straight A grade level.
One parent must be at home to cook meals for the children and help them with their homework EACH DAY after school.
All children must inquire one good, childhood friend from school that they can build a strong relationship w/ and will grow up with them.
Individual and Family portraits must be taken of the each generation. (You can take pictures as much or as less as you like- however 1 picture is required per generation and when new sims are added to the family to track and show the progression)
BEFORE a child ages up to a teenager they must have at least maxed out two skills.
When the first child ages up into teenager you can then transition into the year 1970 where Legacy B begins to take flight!
